"In May of 2005 I was awarded a grant to buy two copies of the software for a joint project with my collaborator, Dr. Jerry Wilkerson, and we embarked on the development of web based teaching modules for our biomechanics classes and our teacher education classes. We were subsequently able to purchase a third copy of the program along with a camera, large monitor, laptop and cart to create a portable system for use in the basic motor skills classes within the teacher education program. We also integrated some of the technology into our computer applications classes. I like the swiss based company Dartfish, they have software that will work for any sport and have really done a nice job of capturing the necessary tools that you need for analysis. They have several different versions of their software available and have a very good online training program that allows you to learn the features of the product from the comfort of your own home.
