Testimonials

Mike Bourne

Lead Performance Analyst, EIS Yorkshire
"The use of Dartfish team pro has changed the way video data can be managed and viewed in British Judo. The flexibility of the tagging module in Dartfish means that a number of alternative monitoring tools can be developed for the needs of the podium and development squads. In addition the quick link between the tagging, analyser and storyboard modules means statistically filtered video information can efficiently be converted into easy-to-understand video profiles. We will be looking to make more use of Dartfish in training and competition environments in the run up to Beijing 2008."

Scott Drawer

UK Sport
"Dartfish is a key partner with UK Sport and partners in the development of analysis practices in GB elite summer and winter Olympic and Paralympic Sport. The technology allows rapid, objective, evidence-based feedback for proactive coaching and in assisting the process of shortcutting the learning required for athletic and coaching development. The technology is simple to use, intuitive and responsive to the real life requirements of the elite sporting environment and provides a great tool in the coaching toolbox."

Dan G. Tripps

Ph.D. - Director, Center for the Study of Sports, Seattle University
I express the enthusiasm of the faculty, staff, and students at the Center for the Study of Sport for the role of Dartfish technology in the conduct and delivery of our programs and activities. At the curriculuar level, Dartfish serves as an engaging and friendly tool for training coaches in skill instruction and analysis. Our undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate participants use the software in case studies for academic projects and applied sport skill development. The immediate video feedback, useful drawing and data tools, and the several alternatives for display, storage, and transmission have energized both beginning and veteran coaches for their important work in enhancing performance.

Amanda Schonfeld

Lecturer - Course Leader for Sports Performance Coaching, Leeds Metropolitan University
"The introduction of Dartfish to Leeds Metropolitan University has been a tremendous boost to the staff, students and athletes in the Carnegie Faculty of Sport and Education. Carnegie students now have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the area of performance analysis, enabling them to utilize world class technology as is used in Sports Institutes, National Governing Bodies, Professional Clubs and Schools across the nation. We are now able to support our Carnegie Scholars, coaches and high performance athletes with an analysis package that will help them obtain the edge that is required to be the best. The Carnegie Research Institute’s work in coaching pedagogy, high performance sport, technique analysis, as well as behavioral observation in children and school environments, will greatly benefit from the flexibility that Dartfish provides. This software ensures that a variety of staff and students can use the one package to improve performance, research, teaching and learning in the area of Sport and Education."

Mike Spino

Director of Coaching Education and International Sports at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
"Everyday throughout the sport leadership profession, all types of coaches, trainers, athletes and educators are quickly realizing that they cannot stay in the game without the Dartfish capability. We have found that the techniques you can observe and correct in terms of sport movement understanding, cannot be matched with the naked eye or any other similar product."

Jeffrey A. Bauer

Ph.D. - Associate Professor of Biomechanics, SUNY Cortland, State University of New York College at Cortland
"Through the use of Dartfish software I have been able to bring the science of Biomechanics to a wide and varied audience. During the past two years I have had the opportunity to work with students from 2nd grade through graduate school and expose them to the power of Dartfish technology. For the younger children, the ability to instantly see themselves and their classmates displayed on a computer screen is very exciting. To have their video images, with the click of a button, go from throwing a ball right-handed to being a lefty throwing the same ball, is almost magical. It is a great tool for exposing children to the basics of human movement analysis. It’s fun and informative, and fits the needs for classroom instruction where teachers cannot be tethered to computers and students have no patience to endure long explanations or sit through extended hardware/software setup."

Betty H. Haven, P.E.D.

Associate Clinical Professor, Kinesiology Indiana University, Bloomington
"In May of 2005 I was awarded a grant to buy two copies of the software for a joint project with my collaborator, Dr. Jerry Wilkerson, and we embarked on the development of web based teaching modules for our biomechanics classes and our teacher education classes. We were subsequently able to purchase a third copy of the program along with a camera, large monitor, laptop and cart to create a portable system for use in the basic motor skills classes within the teacher education program. We also integrated some of the technology into our computer applications classes. Our department is in the process of remodeling and expanding our exercise science teaching laboratories and Dartfish stations are a central part of the biomechanics laboratory area."

Lou Marciani

Ed.D. - Director, School of Human Performance and Recreation, The University of Southern Mississipi
"The University of Southern Mississippi was the first institution of higher education to offer a major in sport coaching education. Since the inception of the program, we have made every effort to be on the cutting-edge relative to sport coaching curriculum and technology. In keeping with this philosophy, our Sport Coaching Education Program and Dartfish have formed an innovative partnership in studying performance analysis. We have fully endorsed the use of Dartfish Solution within our curriculum. Our professors now provide both our undergraduate and graduate students with a great tool for their coaching profession. The Sport Coaching Education faculty and our sport coaching majors have developed an Academic Dartfish Immersion Center that allows our students the opportunity to learn a special “skill set” in the area of performance analysis using world class technology. I am excited that we can support our students with this analysis package that will elevate our future coaches in the profession."

Dave Phillips

Co-founder of the Titleist Performance Institute, California, and Class A member of the PGA of America
I like the swiss based company Dartfish, they have software that will work for any sport and have really done a nice job of capturing the necessary tools that you need for analysis. They have several different versions of their software available and have a very good online training program that allows you to learn the features of the product from the comfort of your own home.
