How can I make a 5.0 log file ?

5.0 log file

Dartfish Support asked you to send a 5.0 log file to provide information about your Dartfish error.

Here is how you should do:
•    From Dartfish go into the “Tools” “Options” window
•    Set the “Logging level” to Verbose.
•    Press Apply


 
Now that the logging level is set to Verbose you will need to try to reproduce the error that you are getting. Please note that while Verbose mode is activated, Dartfish will use more computer resources.

•    Once the error or crash appears, from Windows, click the "Start" menu, and click "Run..." (In Vista can be found in “Start” – “All Programs” – “Accessories” – “Run”)
 
 
 
•    Type %temp% and click Ok.
 
 
 
•    In the new window you will now have to look for the file DartfishFramework.log
•    Now attach this file to the mail when you answer to Dartfish support.


 
•    Once the email is sent, go back into “Tools” – “Options” and set Dartfish’s “Logging level” back to the previous logging level to make Dartfish run faster again. By default it was set to Error.
