Video clip not showing on the secondary screen
Problem:
Your secondary screen doesn't show the video clip when you play it: the screen (or video area) is black or green.
Solution:
A first advice, which is relevant for almost any computer problem, is to make sure you have the latest drivers for your hardware, particularly in the case of GFX cards.
If you have the latest drivers for your GFX card, but the problem still occurs, you can work around it with the XP operating system.
Go to the "Control Panel" (you will find it in the Start Menu), and then click on "Display". You should see a screen similar to the one hereunder (if you don't see this screen immediately, just click the "Settings" tab at the top).
Click the "Advanced" button in the lower-right corner.
You should then see a tab labeled "Troubleshoot", click on it.
This screen should be displayed.
Move the "Hardware Acceleration" slider to the left, to the position shown on the screenshot.
Now press OK in all open menus.
The picture should now appear on both screens.
