Dartfish USA would like to congratulate the Colorado Rockies for making the National League Playoffs for the first time in 12 years. "Simply good" hitting teamed with an outstanding defense have brought the wildcard winning Rockies to the playoffs. The Rockies have won 18 out of the last 19 games, sweeping the Phillies in a 3-0 series and starting the National League playoffs with a win against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Alan Cockrell, the Rockies' hitting coach, has taken them to a whole new level this season. "Keep it simple. That's my philosophie. I want the guys to trust that simple is good. I want to keep guys from changing lanes all the time, from their stance to style to approach," explained Cockrell in an interview with the Gazette at the beginning of the season.
