The twin brothers, who prepared for the competition with DartTrainer, took 1st and 4th place respectively at the 2002 U.S. Gymnastics Championships in Cleveland, Ohio August 7 – 10. Dartfish was on hand during the championships to supply the USA Gymnastics web site with SimulCam comparisons to highlight the most exciting moments of competition.
2000 Olympian and World Championships silver medallist Paul Hamm was crowned National Champion when he defeated five-time national champion and two-time Olympian Blaine Wilson and 2001 national champion and parallel bars world champion Sean Townsend to win the coveted national all-around title at the 2002 U.S. Gymnastics Championships.
Paul and Morgan Hamm worked extensively with DartTrainer in their preparations for the championships with the support of their father, Sandy Hamm, who runs the Swiss Turners Gym where they train with the National Head Coach, Stacy Maloney.
“Morgan, Paul and Stacy will be using DartTrainer on a weekly basis from now until the 2003 World Championships and we all feel it has been an important addition to their success,” said proud father Sandy Hamm following the championships.
