Press release "Zoom: the evolution of an athlete's movement."
An exhibition at the National Sports Museum in Paris, Oct. 3rd, 2009 - Feb. 24th, 2010.
For more than a century, athletes have been using many different means to study the evolution of their movement and technique during their sporting performances. From the first chronophotographies to the modern use of video, the methods culminated with the use of Dartfish software, namely the StroMotion technique.
Making the invisible visible, Dartfish StoMotion applications allow viewers to see an athletic movement unfold before their eyes in time and space by compounding video images into a frame-by-frame sequence.
Dartfish's state-of-the-art technology will hold an exclusive place at the National Sports Museum in Paris where StroMotion photos of world-renown French athletes in full sporting action will be displayed.
