Dartfish's instant video replay at Taekwondo Championships

The 2009 Para-Taekwondo and World Cup Taekwondo Championships took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from June 10th to 14th.

This year's championships saw the introduction of new competition rules. Instant video replay drew great interest from the athletes, referees, spectators and global media alike as one of the key new rules.

Dartfish is proud to have been chosen by the World Taekwondo Federation to supply all the video software during these and all future taekwondo championships. Ensuring a full coverage of all the matches, Dartfish's instant visual replay system was regularly called upon to provide an instant visual feedback of a move at any time of any match. This lead to fair and successful championships.

All the videos from the visual replay system are now systematically published on dartfish.tv/taekwondo. They are thus available for viewing by all spectators of the channel and can even be downloaded for coaching purposes.

With this use of the visual replay system and publication on WTF's own channel on dartfish.tv, the WTF has set-up an economic, cost-saving and reliable system, whereby the same applications are used for all Championships.
