Swiss video training software company, Dartfish are proud Swing Technology sponsors of the HSBC Wee Wonders Open Golf Championships 2004.
Their involvement in the leading children?s golf event, through UK representatives Action Analysis, will allow competitors to get a detailed view of their golf swings at both Regional Finals and the Grand Final itself at St. Andrews. Dartfish allows golfers to have their golf swings captured on to digital video and instantly transferred to a laptop computer where it can then be compared against a professional golfer such as Ernie Els, broken down into various key areas or sent to an e-mail address or web platform for retrieval/further analysis etc. in their own time.
There is a popular train of thought that, when learning movement skills, at least 70% of the learning is visual. Giving children the opportunity to visualise their golf swings as early as possible accelerates the learning and aids development. Therefore, having the chance to be involved in children?s golf development at such an innovative and respected children?s event as Wee Wonders is a real honour.
Kevin Taylor and Rob Gill from Action Analysis will be available to film swings and send the images by e-mail to competitors and welcome all HSBC Wee Wonders competitors to experience the power of the visual and come along and try the very latest in golfing video software technology.
