Dartfish Teams With ECAC® To Offer Video-Based Solutions

CAPE COD, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC®) announced today that the Conference has reached a multi-year deal with Dartfish to become an ECAC Corporate Partner. This agreement names Dartfish as an official video-analysis software provider of the ECAC.

Dartfish, the worldwide leader in video instruction and performance video analysis software, will provide the ECAC with software and training to enhance its officiating services while the Conference will serve as a communications platform for the most advanced video technology available on the market.

“The launch of this new technology partnership will augment the development of our 5,000 plus officials and strengthen the overall service our 14-sport officiating bureaus provide college athletics,” said Steve Bamford, interim commissioner of the ECAC. “The applications extend, well beyond officiating, to individual athletes and teams. To be competitive, video analysis is critical to game preparation and we are proud to introduce Dartfish as a solution-provider to ECAC athletic departments.”

“We look forward to working with ECAC, the largest athletic conference in the U.S.,” said Victor Bergonzoli, president and U.S. general manager of Dartfish. “We are proud that ECAC officials and ultimately many student-athletes will benefit from the advanced analysis capabilities that Dartfish offers.”

The ECAC Corporate Partner Program is dedicated to developing relationships with commercial entities that are committed to the mission of the ECAC, support the ideals of intercollegiate athletics, value the pursuit of excellence on and off the field of play, and serve the needs of the membership. The Corporate Partner Program offers a wide range of marketing opportunities, including, but not limited to, championship naming rights, entitlement rights to student-athlete recognition programs, and official supplier designations.
