DartTrainer products integrate video to its maximum potential in sports education and team sports training. During training for immediate visual feedback and enhanced teacher-athlete communication and after training analysis as DartTrainer tools compare and highlight performances, techniques, trajectories and positions.
Teachers from all schools will now be able to share their clips and analysis to increase the sharing of best practice in P.E. and sports coaching. Students will also benefit from having access to a cutting edge self evaluation tool which speeds up the learning of skills and increases the understanding of team tactics and strategy.
The deal is one of the first to be forged between educational and sport promoting bodies as funds from both organisations have been used to launch this revolutionary project. The long term aim of this project is to use DartTrainer as a vehicle to achieving sporting excellence in Dundee.
To ensure that the software is used to its fullest potential, it has been agreed that a training suite, equipped by Dartfish, will be created in Dundee. This will initially be used to train members of staff responsible for developing it in departments who will then provide local training to all the people using Dartfish solutions in this project. This is to guarantee continuity in the training as the project evolves over time. Case studies will be published by each school on a regular basis on the day to day use and the effectiveness of Dartfish in the P.E. curriculum.
This new partnership is a groundbreaking event in the history of PE and sport in Dundee and Dartfish and Action Analysis are proud to be part of this exciting initiative.

Dundee Council choose Dartfish as their Educational Video Software in groundbreaking deal for Scotland schools
