Evesham High School Partner Leicester Tiger's Shares their Dartfish Expertise

Bringing the Dartfish Family Together

With our reputation as being the leading and most powerful movement analysis software in Physical Education within UK Schools, it was fantastic that students from one of our Dartfish Schools, Evesham High, visited Leicester Tigers Rugby Club to see how they utilise the software in enhancing their daily training programmes.

Thirteen lower sixth form students from the School, who already use Dartfish within their weekly PE studies, had a great day studying at the Tigers state of the art training academy. There they witnessed how both the coaching and strength and conditioning teams have integrated the very same Dartfish software as they use at School into both their physical therapy and match/skills analysis routines.

The students worked alongside first team and international players such as Andy Goode, and Luke Abraham, (see picture above), in both analysing and breaking down video footage captured using the Dartfish software during Leicester?s recent Premiership Matches.

Julie Howells, one of the teacher?s who accompanied the students, clearly saw the tremendous effect this visit had on the students when reflecting on the success of the project, "The pupils were really buzzing going back on the minibus!! They were so impressed by the way Dartfish was being used within the Professional set up. They were also so impressed as to how human the players were ... It was a real inspiration for us all".

This great partnership has been established by Rob Gill, from Action Analysis Ltd., one of the Dartfish reseller companies specifically covering the Midlands, North of England, and Scotland. If you would like to find out more about how you could positively integrate Dartfish into your PE Curriculum, or more about this project being undertaken by Evesham High School, then please feel free to ring Rob on (01327) 850 060 who will be very happy to talk with you.
