Dartfish wishes to congratulate yet another athlete who prepared for competition using DartTrainer software. Muriel Hurtis, who has been training with DartTrainer since April of this year with her coach Guy Ontanon, won the women?s 200 meter and 4 x 100 meters races with her teammates. Her teammate, Sylviane Félix, who is the European 4 x 400 meter champion came in 4th in the 200 meter race.

The Dartfish broadcast team was also present during the European Championships which took place from August 6 ? 11 in Munich, Germany working with the German TV station ADR to provide spectators with incredible SimulCam? and StroMotion? analysis of men?s and women?s triple jump, long jump, pole vault and men?s 110 meter hurdles throughout the competitions.

Hurtis, who told Dartfish that her next objective is to win medals in Paris in 2003 and the Olympic Games in 2004, will continue training with the DartTrainer. In her preparation for the European Championships, she would review the clips that Ontanon had prepared at his house before each training session. She would also review clips that were prepared during competition between series to make corrections leading up to the final races.

Guy Ontanon, who is the French National Team Coach for men?s athletics and women?s sprint recently spoke to Dartfish about the merits of using DartTrainer with his athletes: ?DartTrainer gives you the necessary tools to monitor the athlete and construct good performance techniques. The ability to compare performance in training and competition enables us to build a rich database highlighting the evolution of the athlete?s abilities.?
