Look for Dartfish at the AAHPERD Convention in Baltimore, March 13-16

'Enhancing Instruction and Visual Learning for Students with Dartfish Digital Video Technology' will be presented by Dr. Jeff Bauer of SUNY Cortland on Friday March 16th from 12:30-1:30 in Room 316 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Bauer will share his innovative teaching techniques in Biomechanics using video analysis, along with application in Cortland, New York's middle school and high school. Another session, 'Enhance Performance with Dartfish Video Analysis' will be presented by Dr. Lisa K. Herb of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and Dr. Debra A. Allyn of the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. They will illustrate how Dartfish software can assist coaches in practice with individual skill analysis/self-analysis, as well as team strategies during competition. Herb and Allyn will also demonstrate how the software is used in undergraduate biomechanics to enhance performance analysis and the understanding of biomechanical concepts, helping to prepare students for teaching and coaching. Their session will be held on Friday March 16th also, from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in Rooms 319-320.
