This 2 1/2 day course will certify you to teach the official Dartfish curriculum. Share your video analysis expertise and earn revenue by training others to use their Dartfish software to its fullest potential. The course will cover how to teach Dartfish to others, not how to use the software itself.
It is the attendee’s responsibility to become an advanced user through personal experience and/or by taking advantage of any of our learning options. All attendees must complete and submit the pre-certification tasks (Mediabook, Analysis Recorder, SimulCam, and StroMotion) and their self-assessment by October 12, 2007. The self-assessment will be emailed to you, along with instructions for submitting your projects. Additional details and evaluation criteria for the tasks are contained in the Pre-Certification Handbook, which can be downloaded with the course payment of $200.
Dartfish Certified Instructors will be the only authorized users of the Dartfish Curriculum. The names of Dartfish Certified Instructors will be posted on the Dartfish website, as a video analysis resource for training. Certified Instructors will become beta testers for future versions of the software, and will have the opportunity to generate revenue by conducting onsite and classroom training sessions on behalf of Dartfish.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
• Laptop Computer with Dartfish 4.0.9 or 4.5.0 pre-installed
• Dartfish compatable video camera (MiniDV preferred)
• Tripod
• FireWire™ cable
• Video capture card (PCMCIA FireWire™ Card) if your computer requires one
