USATF and Dartfish partner to offer unique support to athletes and coaches, through High Performance Centers at National & International Track & Field events in 2004

All Track & Field athletes/coaches competing at Mt. SAC (April 2004), US Olympic Team Trials (July 2004), and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens (August 2004) will be able to utilize Dartfish video analysis systems to help improve performances. USATF staff and volunteers will be filming events and providing immediate video review opportunities within the HPC?s.

This will allow coaches and athletes a unique opportunity to review performances on the computer, thus gaining valuable insight before continuing competition or training. Athletes/coaches have the opportunity to receive CD/DVD?s of their performances for further review and analysis.

Additionally, USATF is hoping to offer limited High Performance Centers, featuring the use of Dartfish video analysis software, for many satellite and Junior events this season.

Educational clinics will be offered at most major events and throughout the nation during 2004, to further educate Track & Field coaches on the tremendous value of video analysis and enhanced communication, utilizing the DartTrainer.
