The advantages of using video in PE training are numerous for all skill levels. Video feedback and analysis increases the level of enjoyment and motivation for developing athletes. Students can see their improvement and your verbal advice becomes clearer when combined with video feedback.
DartTrainer will help you and your pupils benefit from video feedback and the full potential of movement analysis in Physical Education. Whether you want to reinforce key teaching points during a lesson, teach your students to analyse and observe their own movements, observe those of others, or motivate them to get involved in after school sports, Dartfish software can help.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the schools who have jumped in and have started to use the system in their programs ? they have been the true ground breakers in the UK (already over 150 schools!).
By teaming up with Devon Curriculum Services and their advisors Steve Cayley and Steve Kibble, we were able to set a goal to change the way pupils learn and for many teachers, the way they teach. The UK Video Based Learning in PE Project was born out of this desire. This project links six LEAs (Devon, Durham, Kent, Warwickshire, Kirklees, and London Borough of Enfield) in order to define the true impact of video based learning in education.
DartTrainer is for you. If you have any comments, stories, or questions, contact me. I would love to hear from all of you.
