Dartfish's Tagging module brings digital video onto the computer and allows you to create a searchable index of the video content. Each event is tagged with not just one label but a set of values that really identify what is happening.

This course aims to give new users of Dartfish's notational analysis tool (Tagging) a simple understanding of what the Tagging module is used for and then to progress to create a video index that can be searched and the results of which can be presented to or exported to CD/DVD.  In addition to these skills you will learn how to modify panels according to your needs.

This introductory course does not attempt to cover the more complex topics of assessing what you need to 'tag' in your discipline.  Nor does it show you how to create a new tagging panel.
