Adding files

There are two other ways to import video clips into your library:

1.	By copying files into a monitored folder (see Defining your library). For example, you are given a CD containing video files and you copy these into the folder \My Documents\My videos.

2.

By defining a new monitored folder. For example, a fellow coach gives you her external hard drive to analyze the video files it contains. When you plug it in to your own computer the files are not listed in the Items List because the external hard drive is not part of your library. You will need to add the drive to the list of monitored folders in your library (see Defining your library).

In the first case, the video files won't appear in the Items List until the library is refreshed. To do this:

Press the [f5] key on your keyboard OR

From the menu bar, click View > Refresh
