Defining your library

The library is the collection of ALL the video files that you want to use with Dartfish. These files can be stored on several folders on your hard drive.

To define the library you must tell Dartfish which folders to monitor. Only the video clips found in these folders will show in the Library module. The default monitored folder is ...My Documents/My videos.


To add the contents of a folder to the library

1.	From the menu bar, select Tools > Options (or type F3)

2.	Click on the Library option

3.	Click on the Add... button. A browser window will open.

4.	Chose a folder and click on OK. The sub folders of this folder will also be included in the library.

5.	Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add additional folders.

6.	To remove a folder from the list, click the folder in the list and click on the Remove button.
