Removing values
As seen in the Editing categories topic, deleting a value from the categories list will also remove that value from any items which hold it. However it is also possible to remove a value from a video clip.
To remove a value
| 1. | Click the View Type button at the top of the Library module

| 3. | Alter the width of the Items List so that you are able to see the headings for each category (these are only visible in Details or Thumbnail Details views). To do this you will click and drag the right hand border of the Items List.

| 4. | Find the value you want to remove. To do this you may have to make the Items List wider still or use the scroll bar at the bottom of the Items List.

| 5. | Right click on the value and choose Rename from the context menu. The value will enter an editing mode as shown below:

| 6. | Delete the existing value (Backspace key on your keyboard).
