What's new in video management

Manage your video Library easily: Former Categories, Folders, Search and Playlist modules have been replaced by the Library which combines all of these features into a single integrated side panel. This module offers all the functions to build and manage your video library.

Work seamlessly across the application: share your clips across the application with the Tray; the working area of the Library that contains the collection of video clips currently being used. Newly captured files are instantly accessible to be reviewed and analyzed. Collections in the tray can be saved as a "playlist" and reopened when needed.

Classify clips immediately: Build a form which includes the categories to classify the video clips during capture (DV Import and InTheAction) or when creating a new video (in SimulCam, StroMotion or Analyzer). Enter a file name and select the relevant values to automatically classify your clips.

Locate your clips quicker: Select and deselect any combination of Categories and Values to make locating Dartfish files quicker. Category/value filters and searches can be combined. Search video clips of a performance by name and refine your search by using category and values.

Use a consistent categorization system across your organization: you can now import and export your category/values; useful if you use more than one Dartfish computer or you want to ensure that everyone within your Dartfish team is using the same categorization system.

Navigate through search results: Internet browser style Back and Forward buttons on the Library allow easy return to previous Items list displays.
