In collaboration with Tennis Analytics, one of the world’s leading match analytics services, Dartfish is proud to announce myDartfish Tennis solution.
Using some of the learnings from professional match analysis, myDartfish Tennis is ideal for small colleges, academies, and club programs looking for an affordable tagging solution.
This Do-It-Yourself model has all the tools you need to provide match analysis data and reports to your players. And if you do need matches to be tagged for quick turnaround, an outsourcing option is available.
MATCH TAGGING
A player’s true strengths and weaknesses only become evident during match play.
Tagging is the process of charting match events and indexing or linking to the actual video. This allows coaches or players to search, filter and view specific match situations along with a statistical match report. Essentially, tagging makes stats come alive!
myDartfish Tennis is a software application that includes the charting panel and automatic dynamic report generation. All you need to do is film the match and tag.

REDEFINING THE PRACTICE AND LESSON COURT
The current tennis industry is geared toward creating “outcome oriented” athletes – wins/losses, rankings, ratings are used to determine player “success.” So, the question is:
Can a player be improving despite a loss or ranking drop?
Of course!
Matchplay is the “exam” we take after working on our game in lessons and practice. Up until now, the exam has never been graded. We have only a vague idea of what we did well, or what we need to work on.
Your tagged match footage and reports will help you redefine the practice court. Tendencies – both good and bad – are easily identified. And it is OBJECTIVE – coaches, players and parent view the same data and video. More importantly, because performance data is now MEASUREABLE, the lesson and practice court become much more structured. Players improve faster.
If you are not measuring, you are guessing
OTHER NOTABLE BENEFITS
- Document player progress over time
- Generate off-court revenue
- Remote learning
