Fribourg, Switzerland – [September 19, 2023]
Dartfish SA, a global leader in video analysis solutions for sports, is proud to announce the official certification of its cutting-edge Dartfish VAR System by FIFA, the international governing body of football. This milestone marks a significant advancement in the diffusion of football refereeing technologies and underscores Dartfish’s commitment to enhancing fairness in sport.
The Dartfish VAR System, created and engineered at Dartfish’s main facility in Fribourg, Switzerland, has successfully completed the evaluation carried out by FIFA’s technical specialists.
Key features of the Dartfish VAR System include:
- Multiple video formats: Dartfish VAR System was designed to process video feeds from various formats (SDI, IP, etc..) to ensure referees can always rely on the right footage to make the best decision on the field.
- User-friendly interface: Referees can easily access and control the system through an intuitive interface in 8 languages, allowing for quick decision-making without disrupting the flow of the game.
- Affordable: The Dartfish VAR System shines not only due to its state-of-the-art technology but also for its seamless and light setup, relying solely on readily available off-the-shelf hardware. Offering a solution with controlled operating and investment expenses is our commitment to promoting fairness in sports worldwide.
With FIFA Basic Standard certification, the Dartfish VAR System has gained authorization for deployment in football competitions across the globe.
