Inside the LHC: Scout the Opponents’ Team and Improve Game Strategy with Dartfish

Dartfish solutions are used by more than 60 ice-hockey teams in the highest ranking European leagues.

The LHC (Lausanne Hockey Club) is a Swiss ice hockey club, playing in the National League, the highest level of ice hockey in Switzerland.

As the LHC has just celebrated its centenary, we traveled to the Olympic capital to meet Axel Canaguier and Cristobal Huet.

Over the course of the interview, Axel and Cristo touch on a range of important topics, including:

• 0:45    Scouting analysis
• 1:12    Player performance
• 1:33    Why Dartfish?
• 1:58    Workflow
• 2:53    Staff integration

The LHC integrates a large part of the Dartfish environment in its workflow –  using myDartfish Pro S software, Dartfish.tv, a mobile app, and most recently, the Live Collaboration System – all utilized in their daily routine.

How Dartfish benefits the LHC?

• Scouting opponents to best strategize for the next game,
• Improving players, by giving individualized feedback to develop specialized training programs.
