Delivering Tailored Feedback: A Data-Driven Approach
Whether it’s pre-match scouting reports or post-match debriefs, Michael and his team use data-driven insights developed by Dartfish to identify specific areas where players can improve.
For example, by analyzing patterns of play, Michael can pinpoint repeatable strategies that give his players a competitive edge. He’s also adept at identifying areas where players can improve their technique or movement, ensuring they’re always performing at their peak.
Mike and his team analyze match patterns throughout the game.
Pre-match scouting reports allow analysts to identify where the player can most repeatedly hurt the opponent throughout the match and, thus, make tactical game decisions.
To exemplify: a wide serve on the deuce side followed by a forehand back behind the player would be considered a “primary pattern of play” that could be repeated on the players first serve during the match
After the game, video analysis shows how effective the player was in maintaining the tactics defined before the match.
