Stromotion lets you freeze several key moments in a movement in a single sequence, superimposing successive positions of an athlete or moving object (such as a ball, javelin or vehicle).
Used in sports where perfect execution of movement is required – such as tennis, gymnastics, baseball or swimming – the Stromotion feature transforms rapid action into a clear, educational visual sequence.

Break down the gesture to optimize it
Dartfish’s Stromotion feature is based on stroboscopy, a fast-motion analysis method that allows a moving object to be perceived as a series of static images along its trajectory.
Different rendering modes allow StroMotion video sequences to be displayed either scrolling over a full panoramic image, or in an animated version where the viewer sees the movement unfold in the original video sequence.
